@Stonewall

'With an almost 50% increase in online abuse for women and non-binary people this year, we proud to join @GlitchUK_ in calling on @dcms @oliverdowden to go further in their Online Harms White Paper following Tuesday’s announcement. Find out more...'

They can fuck off to the far side of fuck, then fuck off again.

This, with bells on!!

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 18/12/2020 10:31

Jingle bells in fact. All the way...

Current CEO probably panicking that there won't be a cushy job in the Lords etc at the end of their stint, unless they can claw back some credibility for this cesspit of an organisation.

Joisanofthedales · 18/12/2020 12:24

Bollocks to Stone wall. Why? Because women don't have testicles or XY chromosomes and your so called support would just be a way of sneaking these men into your definition of woman. So FTFO we don't need you or your misogyny.

Redsquareoctopus · 18/12/2020 12:41

It’s like a cosmetic dentist standing two doors down from his surgery, club in hand, smashing people in the face. As they walk broken toothed and bleeding, the poster in the surgery invites them in with a special deal.

I seem to remember seeing a team photo that stonewall put out. That tells you all you need to know.

And all the ‘alllies’ and ‘officers’ I come across these days in industry - a hell of a lot are women Xmas Confused

Facts not fashion. Maybe they'll pretend for a while to actually care about actual women as a way to keep their money rolling in.

I really hope they're given the boot. Wouldn't trust them as far as I can spit, and no woman needs those prats in her corner.

Passmeabottlemrjones · 18/12/2020 13:23

This is the same Stonewall who are currently actively campaigning to remove the single sex exemptions in the Equality Act?!

As an aside, I don't have dyslexia or a visual impairment and I find those slides hideous to read!

zzizz · 18/12/2020 13:36

Lol. The only women they care about are the type who are male.

I felt pissed trying to read it, like the room was spinning!

TheABC · 18/12/2020 13:41

That ratio is amazing.

The Keira Bell case was the canary in the coal-mine. Between Nicholson's letters and Truss' pronouncement, Stonewall is waking up to the push-back.

🤞

Stonewall suddenly care about women
KittyValentine · 18/12/2020 13:50

Dear Stonewall,

Does your arse ever get jealous of all the shit that comes out of your mouth?

Yours,
Kitty

I’d say Stonewall is in breach of their charitable aims.

How bloody dare they say they speak for women? And how inaccessible is that document? Have they not got onto rolling over all the additional needs charities yet? I’m sure it’s coming. Is there monopoly governance for charities?

How many women are on their SMT, I wonder?
