There is currently a consultation open in Scotland regarding prostitution. The deadline is Thursday, 10 November.
(It is December, Nonny has asked us to correct this. MNHQ)

We need the Scottish government to implement the Nordic Model. The "sex work" lobby are putting a lot of pressure on politicians for full decriminalisation.

You do not need to be in Scotland to respond to the consultation. Anyone can do so.

Nordic Model Now! have provided a really easy way to send in a submission using a template email. It's a two step process and only takes a few minutes. You can add more information within the email if you'd like.

Click here to fill it in. Please share the link as much as possible with anyone who might be interested. It's really easy to fill in.

Ahhh the stories I could tell... the pissed off (or useless) temp who sent out an entire mailer - of empty envelopes... or the mailer that went out with an awful lot of ‘Dear Mr/Mrs Deceased’ (because someone forgot to delete that field)... the ad that was printed front page, section 2 of the FT out of focus/illegible because the agency sent the wrong artwork... oh what fun...

Grrr, I am drowning in bloody consultations, most of which overlap. These departments need to get together and agree only x consultations on related subjects per six months, it's getting ridiculous.

MichelleofzeResistance - Yes there are so many overlapping consultations. It's getting difficult to stay on top of them.

I've tried to maintain a calendar here to see what's coming up. Hopefully others find it helpful too.
