Mermaids have shared this. Queer Britain is a charity and they want to open a LGBT museum as they don't want "stories to be lost" so lesbians and bisexual women can write to them to let them know what your experiences are.

Of course anyone who has any gender identity or no gender identity might also like to write about their experiences of being 'queer', or maybe also how they don't want to be labelled as such...
Every story is important.
We want to read yours.
Queer Britain is a charity working to establish the UK’s first-ever national LGBTQ+ museum. We’re inviting the UK’s LGBTQ+ community to write an open letter to Queer Britain so they can record, study and preserve stories that might otherwise be lost.

Well it was nice of them to include 1 actual woman in that video.....

When I hear the word "queer" now what comes to mind is puppy play. I won't include a link, you can do your own NSFW image search if you're so minded.

The letters will be studied by historians at... Goldsmiths; University of London. Well that's reassuring Hmm More co-opted Pomo blithering to come I suspect.

OhHolyJesus · 07/12/2020 11:37

I suspect many letters would be 'lost' if they don't fit with their narrative but was hopeful about historians, mainly as I still have (probably misplaced) hope that some still have the integrity to want to record things accurately.

I know Goldsmiths is Woke-Uni-Central but also who isn't? As with most places there are pockets of GC thinkers everywhere...

It's good to be hopeful OhHoly and I hope too that many lesbians send their stories and those stories will have pride of place. I think it's a great idea, I'm just cynical about the direction it might take.
