I got wound up earlier listening to Times Radio. Matt Chorley had Ben Cohen on talking about the Pink News awards. I really think they got support just because journalists are used to getting pissed at their award ceremonies. All the usual guff, toxic debate, how we're all just a load of bigoted witches, why cant people just be 'kind'. Ben saying how all the nasty bigots piled on him for talking about surrogacy. 'Kind' I nearly through the radio through the window. Hope Janice Turner was listening to it. So weak and lacking in any intellectual scrutiny.

I heard that on Matt Chorley earlier. “People were really mean to me, rather than be outraged that the NHS won’t pay for my surrogate journey (🤮), the nasty wimmin accused me of buying a child!!!” I could hear his faux innocent eyelash fluttering through the radio.

Yes cos THAT’S WHAT YOU WANT TO DO, spaff in a cup and then pay other people to create a child for you from it, including buying a woman’s egg (that she does not donate in 2 minutes with the aid of a dirty mag), and then renting another woman’s body for 9 months to gestate and birth it. That is buying a child! Paying women to take significant risks with their health to make one for you! All you’re doing is having a medical wank!

Sorry that annoyed me. Reproduction isn’t an equal rights issue, sex matters, no more so than when it comes to sexual reproduction.

It must be something about the awards - it certainly isn't the quality of its trumpian journalism.

What do they put in the drink at the awards ceremonies?

hmmmmmmm ... I thought comments would be about how funders are going to be intimidated from giving money to WPUK it it means they are then called terf supporters by Pink News - or stupid twatters.

This is part of the serious, if not coordinated, and wide spread public criticism of any associated even in the slightest way with gender critical feminism.
