Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

An idea: any adults happy to talk about being gender dysphoric and/or a gender non-conforming kid or teen?

In view of yet another lesbian announcing being trans and the ever present huge gender identity presence, I'm wondering whether we should create our own materials featuring ppl who struggled with puberty and/or being gender non-conforming when younger?

Something to show that they successfully negotiated this period of their lives and have grown up happy, fulfilled and importantly without changing their bodies. It could be roughly illustrated pages similar to those made by one of the detransitioner groups, a PowerPoint, short videos, an interactive lesson?

Just brainstorming really & thinking it'd be great to build on Keira's work and to create something that potentially schools could use in their RSE.

There are so many stories on here of people who think they'd have transitioned if they were kids/teens in the current culture.

And/or we could do a survey of how easily ppl negotiated puberty? Which might indicate just how frequently ppl struggled at this time. Appreciating that there might already be research out there...I confess I haven't looked yet.

What do you think?
