Well done Jo, you are another of the amazing women, like Keira and others, who have really shown what female courage is this year.
The replies now look rather....
Judges on a fact finding/evidence testing case to look at whether the Tavistock are acting within the law and treating children ethically, demonstrate clearly that they are not. That this is a medical and ethical scandal.
Comments: Why can't you just be Kind?
……….and just let clinics get on with not treating children ethically? Medically and ethically abusing children and their rights is 'kind?'
Comments: There's a long careful progress/its all been tested/ it's fine the evidence shows...
NO IT DOESN'T.
Read the judgement. It's right there. That was what this case was for. These assertions were tested, by a legal process, objectively collecting and weighing up evidence. The people providing the evidence were the experts in the UK providing the treatment and knowing the most about it, the best qualified to make the case. The judgement from checking the evidence objectively is that no. These things are not proven and in some cases are plain not true.
So what does 'be kind' mean really? Other than 'stop saying things that I don't want to have to admit to?'
