I've been a lurker on MN and these boards for a long time, I've been wary of posting because I am not as knowledgeable as most people here, but here goes.

The TV was on Good Morning Britain this morning (background noise rather than anything else) and the subject of a Football announcer being suspended for using the term HANDBAGS OUT, one of the "woke" talking heads was someone called Rebecca who suggested the word HYSTRIONICS instead! Really? I'm trying really hard not to use any variation of hysteria because I really think it's a dismissive term.

I have an email to GMB sitting in my draft folder about this, am I being ott if I send it?

Be gentle with me, is this a battle worth fighting?

Becoming a mother is a definite trigger for late-onset feminism. I already had it, but my feminism certainly intensified on giving birth to my daughter, and over a decade later show no signs of waning.
