A friend of DH shares a lot of wokeness on social media and has in the past admitted he doesnt always know all of the context behind it.

I would like to formulate a gentle response to this one. I dont want to fall out with him, just give an alternative view point.

Ask them why transwomen are so scared of the mens room. What are they doing in there?

After all, if women are "welcome" to the mens room then transwomen should be too.

Also, to be called creepy by a bunch of cuckoo men who have taken over the trans nest (much to the horror of people with gender dysphoria). More than a bit rich with their disingenuous "ooh don't talk about my junk" when their lives are 100% about sex and their proclivities.

As for "just hold it til you get home", that's what used to be called the urinary leash. It's exactly what we're protesting against going back to. Single sex toilets were literally invented so women didn't have to just hold it. If the men who wrote this had the first clue about being a woman, with the increased liklihood of not being able to hold it due to UTIs, pregnancy, birth injuries etc, in other words our female biology then they wouldn't say something so dumb. Or maybe they would, because misogyny.

Honestly, at this point I think not one of them actually understands what we're protesting against. That or they all just have one brain cell which they're taking it in turns to pass back and forth between them. Or both.

I'd send him this. Not gentle, but the truth. We have no idea of knowing who is genuine and who isn't.

You could reply you weren't nervous until you saw that mentioning 'junk' and found out how many transwomen still have their 'junk' and that stonewall includes cross dressers as trans. And wow, do people who still have their 'junk' expect to take priority in women's rest rooms?

And then say odd to mention 'family restrooms', since there are so few, and wouldn't it be great if there were more.

I would post suggesting that it saddens you how men aren't doing more to make transwomen feel safe in the gents, how the TW just want to pee and are no threat to the men.

Restroom? What's a restroom? This is the UK, we have lavvies, the WC, the bog, the loo, and drumroll The Ladies.
