If Scottish Labour came out clearly in the side of women I'd bite in a heartbeat. A very easy way to gain votes from the SNP, labourites. You'd win with women, but, granted, may lose votes from the non binary demographic.

Is Johann stepping down for next election too? She said something about her speech being the last one she'd make on this. Made me think she's stepping down too - I've not seen anything anywhere else.

Yes, sadly, Johann said a while back that she was stepping down. So is Elaine Smith and now Jenny. It feels like a cull of GC Lab.
