Its a shame that it is posted on twitter. Not because of the tras and mras, but because it is the least used social media platforms.

And more often than not just leads to this small group of people arguing with each other.

She’s said much the same on a bi-weekly basis in her Times column, stumbledin, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t mention it again this week. So it is gaining a pretty wide audience. Likewise, the piece on Suzanne Moore that ran in the Daily Mail today contained elements of the same ideas and the Wail, like it or loathe it, has an enormous readership.

Can’t wait for her next column

Once again Janice you are speaking for so bloody many women who can’t speak out. Thank you. Don’t stop.

I distinctly remember watching one of Riley J Dennis's videos, where Riley made the premise that since you cannot ascertain sex, it doesn't exist. And therefore all women's rights can be ceded to men.

I made a post on here, I believe. A jaw dropped one. Along the lines of, OMG now they have really jumped the shark, because no one, absolutely no bloody one is going to buy this unhinged, reality denying nonsense.

And now, three bloody years later, an award-winning journalist, working for a prestigious newspaper, is having to ask Do you believe women have the need & right to describe their biological existence?

I simply cannot understand how anyone, who has an atom of thought, does not understand the issue.

Janice Turner is superb. And I see Jenni Murray just tweeted her congratulations to Suzanne.

Wonderful from Janice, such a brave, formidable woman.

Although I would say it’s even simpler than that.

For me it boils down to:

Do biologically female people have the right to say no to biologically male people?

Yes or no. Are we entitled to boundaries or not?

Sometimes its nice to be in our own echo chamber as it helps us feel better.

But when you are outside of the echochamber it can be a shock to find out how many other people actually have no idea what you are talking about, or why they should care.

We are nowhere near the tipping point that will shift the axis of influence that the trans agenda has gained with 2 generations of young people, whose doting parents and grand parents dont want to suggest that might just not know what they are talking about!

I disagree i think we are very close to that tipping point. The issues are getting more sunlight.

I want this demanded of every single idiot establishment and organisation and individual busy trying to look woke for their own benefit. Yes, never mind all the mantras, do you believe females have the right to say no to males or not? Yes or no.

Tipping point - I keep getting hopeful when I read stuff on here and my social media silos... and then I see that Amnesty International don't believe Irish women deserve political representation if they refuse to agree that Freedom Is Slavery/TWAW; and the Scottish Government have made it a potential hate crime to say TWANW if you look like you are deliberately trying to hurt someone's feelings.

I'm a HCP and colleagues seem to actually believe that sex is a spectrum. It's staggering.

So, more power to the brave women who are prepared to deal with the flack they get. I say stuff on social media and that's brutal enough.

The tipping point - well, the problem was never that there were a lot of people buying into the TRAs ideas - most people just weren't aware of them at all, and once they're spelled out the majority very quickly realise what a lot of nonsense it is to say that anyone can change sex or that TWAW. They also realise that there is opprobrium and drama over the question, though, so tend to ignore it as they don't see it as being worth the hassle of fighting.

It's the organisations and professionals who have somehow been convinced that they have to buy all these bizarre theories that are counter to the very basic realities in front of everyone's faces that are the problem. Even then, it's not that anyone actually believes that 'TWAW', it's more that they believe one has to say that in order to be accepted.

Excellent idea. They could call it something like the Women's Equality Party.

What about women's sports being made actually unsafe with males throwing themselves around? What about women's prisons being made actually unsafe with males and their dicks that can cause pregnancy etc and all the other issues caused by Gender ideology.

If you work for a newspaper and you require that the newspaper only ever report content that you personally feel emotionally secure and unchallenged by.....

what the actual fuck are you doing in journalism?

And why is a newspaper editor not caring for three obviously very unfragile members of staff by providing support to their wellbeing, resilience and capacity to do their job instead of rushing to suit his newspaper to their emotional boundaries? You cannot child-proof the world for fragile adults. It is the job of adults using mental health care and supportive strategies as necessary to proof themselves to handle the world. That's what adulthood is, it's about taking responsibility for yourself and no longer requiring other people to parent you, fix you and keep you safe.

It seems like this fragility is all over the media - it’s the same in publishing with the kids crying over working on books by authors whose opinions they don’t agree on.
