While I appreciate the work that WOLF did, I do think they made a strategic error in presenting with the Heritage Foundation. Also think they were wrong about The SCOTUS case - this ruling actually ended up protecting people based on being GNC, the right way to protect trans people IMO.

There are so many new orgs finally starting in the US. This is an exciting time.

I'm worried for the US, mainly due to the sheer size and different state laws, I have no idea how you mobilise at grassroots level in current circumstances but if ever there was a lesson we should have learnt from history is not to underestimate the women.

It was a good session, thankfully it was recorded and will be available on their website I think so o don't need to try to recount the 1.5hrs I attended for.

It truly was international. Attendees from Mexico, Sweden, Ireland, Switzerland and from the U.K. we had LGB Alliance, WPUK and Heather Brunskell Evans.

I listened more than looked at the presentations but I think the key thing is what happens next with the Equality Act and I'm not clear how non-US citizens can help.

I'm hoping there will be a follow up email which I'll share for info, but for now I'd recommend signing up for the LGB Alliance USA newsletter for those who are interested.

That's really good to hear, OhHolyJesus. I can only imagine how much grassroots mobilising is required in the US, but this is a good start.

I guess those of us outside of the US might be able to help with donations etc if feminists there want to gather resources to reach more people.
