I am working through the materials relevant to the age of my children, not yet read it all.

I did jump to the senior stage lesson plan to check what they were saying about anal - I would have preferred more content about the physical damage it can do not just STIs but note they include content about the different attitudes of men and women to it.

Thank you for sharing ApplePen, at first glance it appears to be a sensible set of resources.

Very little gender stuff, kids in late primary are told to be kind and respect the wishes of children with gender dysphoria. Then in secondary school there is one more activity where words are clearly defined.

That bit looks reasonable. I have to admit, I've only loooked at the RSHP stuff for my own kids' ages - there is a LOT of it. Most of what I've seen looks pretty reasonable and factually worded. The bit on prostitution was very, very clear on the harms of this.

There's a lot of good stuff in there - but there is also some confusion and it's clear that while some bits were written from an education perspective, some of the inclusions were ideological. There were some good questions raised in this letter to Swinney.
