His remarks were awful. Even for the time.

My father is of a similar vintage- he might not be a raving feminist, but he would have no truck with hitting a woman.
When Dad gets annoyed with Mum, he's off for a long walk, and comes back to ignore the issue get on with things.

No reason for Connery not to do the same.

I've heard a lot of people excusing his comments, saying he was a product of his time.

That's utter cobblers. A lot of men his age would never have dreamt of raising a hand to a woman for any reason.

Cannot believe how many times I've read Daily Mail articles this year, 2020 what are you like?!

Spy cops inquiry deserves its own thread really. State sanctioned abuse & the cops are still trying to make out it is justifiable. Hate that I feel so cynical about the inquiry but something needs to bring the police to account ☹️

I like how she says 99.9% of women agree with her that there is a difference between women and males-who-identify-as-women.
