This is a good quote from the Guardian today which is very telling (as if any if us are surprised)

www.theguardian.com/media/2020/oct/29/bbc-no-bias-rules-prevent-staff-joining-lgbt-pride-protests

One BBC journalist said their manager had been told that growing media and political opposition to trans rights in the UK meant public LGBT pride events were now more likely to count as controversial events, meaning they would not be able to attend even in a personal capacity

Did the BBC journalist source explicitly use this language or is that Jim's spin on it? What the Guardian could have printed, or what the source could have said, is -

One BBC journalist said their manager had been told that growing media and political support towards Women's Rights in the UK

It’s just so casually thrown in and buried in the story most people would overlook it. But it’s one of those things you can’t unsee really. Essentially saying anyone not towing the line is “opposed to trans rights”, which is grossly misleading and a nice convenient way to shut things down.

The whole story goes to show what a farce it all is - complete with the ‘I didn’t really like that Tweet it was my fat fingers’ disingenuous bollocks at the end from a bass who got caught out with their own daft policy 😂

Boss not bass 😂

Not to mention that “LGBT Pride events” are controversial for having become homophobic events celebrating heterosexual fetish, whose practitioners have strongly objected to Pride events being portrayed as “family friendly”.

“Gay Pride” as was suffered a final death blow in 2018, when the World Heath Organisation announced that paraphilias and fetish would be airbrushed out of the International Classification of Diseases. Cue invasion of the Adult Babies merrily shitting themselves in public for kicks, the “Pups”, “Leather Men”, Gimp-masked BDSM crowd, etc.

The BBC has degenerated into a Public Brainwashing Corporation.

Really needs to be pointed out to them that they're increasingly implying that by 'trans rights' they mean 'removal of sex based rights from women'.

And to check whether this is a message they really feel is a positive one when looked at from any angle?
