Evening.

I keep seeing the same eBay ad, so some sort of sex ‘game’ showing pictures of women in different poses.

I am not interested in seeing this and it also depicts women as there to be used for sexual pleasure.

Any idea who can I raise this with with eBay?

You can stop seeing it if you click the x in the top right of the ad and mark that you don’t want to see it anymore. That’s through Google ads though and not eBay directly.

It keeps coming back! eBay are determined to sell me this sex game. I mostly just ignore it but I find the whole thing unpleasant.

A silhouette of a woman with stars to indicate where a man can cum is not a suitable product to advertise!

Plus it is showing women solely there to pleasure a man. Nothing about mutual enjoyment.

Maybe download adblock?

Is it possible, dontwantmirena, that the op has posted this in feminism to make a point about structural misogyny, rather than to seek advice about adblocking..?

I actually think that is for a car not a sex game. What is the title of the item?

dontwantamirena · 29/10/2020 11:48

The OP has said they find it unpleasant and they don’t want to see it. I’m trying to help them with that aspect so they don’t have to ignore it.

OP, something else to try is clearing your browsing history and cookies.

I have no idea what the product name is - I am not going to click on it for further details. The buttons show silhouette of a naked woman
a) kneeing / lying with her bum raised giving a man a blow job
b) doggy style presenting her bum
c) sitting forward thrusting out her boobs.

No suitable. Now someone has mentioned car I could see that - though that doesn’t make it much better!

It is just sexualisation/objectification and not appropriate as an advert for eBay. Contacted them on twitter and will see what they say.
