'Mums' sites; being booted off

Has anyone here been booted off a large (in this case, English, circa 40,000+ people) for being, well a bit too Mumsnet FWR-like?

Finding some of the conversations boarding on the inanest of the inane. I made a few points and was asked to leave.
Ironic as the founder is an old friend of mine but we have grown apart.. it just seems like in the last 5 years these sites are becoming more polarised in opinion?

I know, I know.. Thou shall not let ones guard slip and decry the purchase of heels for 9 year olds..

the reason some of us post here is that we could not remember which way round the two parts of the word went when it was recommended by the HV. I stayed as it is sweary as fuck and does not give you a headache when using it. and is better discussion. over the years have discovered more bits of mumsnet, including fwr which is bloody brilliant.

to be fair I checked out the opposition once I realised I had made a "mistake" Then realised it was not a mistake afterall but a very happy accident.

I still have the plate somewhere around about, the one my arse was handed to me on. You know when you get an attack of the precious first borns after a sleepless year...

Ha blackeyed Iirc when I started posting here I think my arse was handed to me on an all-you-can-eat platter from a package holiday. I felt sorry for myself for a while but came back and listened a bit more.

I no longer really give a fuckity fuck about being told off. Just from posting on here for a good year as well as in GC friendship groups and twatter sphere, it was a bit of a shock to venture outside. Blimey. The 1950s.
