Sadly there are lots of dead badgers on our local roads at the moment - I do hope that badger numbers are holding up.

I try to reframe roadkill as a sign that at least there are creatures about to be offed by cars.

A virtual fag is the only kind I could actually smoke these days, highame - last one I had was so utterly disappointing, and gave me palpitations. Not very rock and roll these days.

I think I'm going to start smoking again when I'm 80 and hope I don't get palpitations . Trouble is, I really hate the smell now so have no idea why I get the odd craving.

Old habits die hard! I had nightmares that I'd started again, couldn't actually risk re-igniting the addiction. Plus yes, they taste bloody horrible. I like the smell, though ...
