Conservative MP Jackie Doyle-Price has stood up for women’s sports on Twitter. I don’t know how to link to it. Was going to attach a screenshot then realised that may not be allowed.

Yeah, she's been "out" and pretty consistently GC for a while now.

Jackie has been great-she spoke against the 'individuals with a cervix' crap and other stuff too. Just wish more of them would do it.

She is a name I hadn’t seen before but I am new to these boards. Good to see support.

I think she asked a supportive question when Liz Truss spoke about the GRA in the HoC last month.

She is consistently vocal on women’s issues.

She doesn’t take any shit on twitter either.m and she is non-partisan on the issue.

I can’t bear Labour/Lib Dems/Greens/SNP on the issue - but what what are the Tories actually going to about it? This is all on their watch.

She's right.

It's so weird. Recognising that sex affects bodies, and that gender is about the mind, is not transphobia. Recognising that women are, in several contexts, affected by biological sex, and that to deny that reality harms them and their interests, is not transphobia. It's sexism to claim otherwise.

The reality is that much of what is demanded now is straightforwardly sexist. If the rights of a subset of male people require a fullscale denial of the rights of female people, then your 'trans rights activism' is just misogyny. There is no human right on the part of male people to erase the rights of female people, by denying their existence as a sex class, so male people can trample on female people. And if you want that to be allowed without any scrutiny or challenge, then you need to do, and in fact be, better.

I just read that tweet by ‘Bex’ (who the fuck are they)? Targeting a black lesbian trying to protect women’s sport is pretty low even for them.

Bex is a lawyer 🤦‍♀️and a 'Trans inclusion expert'

It's like they believe in fairytales or something. Your inner identity doesn't miraculously change your body and it's biology.

I think they know this seriously, they just want to be perpetually outraged by something-such a shame they have to slur and throw people under the bus to scratch that itch.
