My left wing friends are up in arms - how dare the evil tories dash her dreams.

But, but, but, I am torn.

Isn’t this what we have been asking for? The ability to dream of stem careers for women and not say the only dreams open to women should be in the underpaying arts and prancing around in a tutu. Argh!

(There need to be be money to retain though. Rethink. Reskill. Reboot. Seems to be missing the learning grant or what have you for DomCum’s digital wonder world).

I can't see what the chart relates to without registering and it says that's only for commercial users.Confused
So, without knowing what the categories are I'll take a guess from what you said that this set of statistics relates purely to turnover, much of which will just be cycling money within the U.K. economy, whereas tourism is an 'income generator' - bringing in money from elsewhere?

Yes - I was caught out, I now cant access the stats without registering.

Yes it was turnover.

No time to search for other sources at the moment.

BUT
Without nice things to do, what is the point

Maybe now is the time for a 'price of everything and value of nothing' type of quote?

Have given up searching for "income generating" data. It all seems to be data.

And because I have logged in again have got the stats from link above.

(The doughnut stats are from 2013)

Just to say I dont think it is about the size or proportion. I think it is about finding work that is something you feel able to do. And for some it also means being in an industry they really identify with, not just having a 9-5 job to get money to have a life outside of 9-5.
