She was so right about ordinary woman being targeted and shut down. Fined. Forced to sign non disclosure agreements. Sickening and scary. Penis owners are being allowed to get away with this.

I trust she will stand up for any woman targeted by Eq Op Tasmania. These people need firmly putting back in their box.

I imagine this is what it is going to look like if self id can in and with the hate crime bill too.

So in Australia a women can be forced (or pay $2000) to attend a 'conciliation', sign a non disclosure agreement, have no legal representation, if a man complains about her saying that women's sports are for the female sex, to the equality commission

Love this woman. She takes no prisoners, and has such enormous courage. The climate in Australia is very different to that here, and yet she is forcing that Overton window to widen, inch by painful inch, and doing it with intelligence, poise, and absolute determination.

Excellent speech.

No doubt we will be told that this woman is "strident" and "hectoring" before the day is out.

I sent her an email of support a few weeks ago and got a reply from this morning! Only a friendly thank you, but was lovely to receive.

I hope that her magnificent speech is used as a springboard by any woman targeted by Eq Op Tasmania to fight this appalling, undemocratic practice. "Sunlight; sunlight" as we say so often on this board
