I know this gets talked about a lot & this is one of the clearest breakdowns I’ve seen :)

Just made me think. If birth sex cannot change, why has the NHS been issuing new NHS numbers thereby making it impossible to trace anyone who has had gender re-assignment. In terms of health, it would make it impossible to treat anyone who didn't want to declare their birth sex.

Hope that's not too confusing

p.s. great breakdown thanks for posting OP

At a guess highname I’d say the NHS follows stonewall law rather than the actual law

Kit19 spot on - check out the horrorshow which is single sex hospital ward provision. Whole document about how mixed sex wards are an abomination and an affront to dignity. Followed by an appendix written by GIRES explaining how anyone whose 'gender' is female must be placed in the bay of their choice, with absolutely no assumptions made based on their physical body or their mode of dress. How people with a brain in their heads have drunk this much kool aid is completely beyond me.

"Single sex spaces can be maintained on the basis of
birth sex, in which case men and all transwomen must be excluded"

Wrong. And there is no must about it. The EHRC exception is optional based on a proportionate means of achieving a ligitimate aim.
This "breakdown" is somebodys useless misinterpretation.

And what is more legitimate than excluding males from prisons, refuges and changing rooms?
