Chris Mason presents political debate and discussion from Broadcasting House in London with a panel including the SNP's Home Affairs and Justice Spokesperson at Westminster Joanna Cherry MP, the Chair of Policy Exchange and former Australian foreign minister Alexander Downer, the Shadow Foreign Secretary Lisa Nandy MP and the Health and Social Care Minister Helen Whately MP.

They've just asked for questions to put to the panel, specifically including any questions on self ID.

Email your question to [email protected] and include a phone number.

It will be broadcast on Radio 4 at 8pm tonight and repeated tomorrow at 1pm.

Joanna Cherry and Lisa Nandy. Well well.

Ooh bump bump! If you can think of a good question please send it (I will have a think too, though not sure I can be free at the right time if you have to be available on the phone). Yes, Cherry and Nandy should definitely be interesting!

Followed by Any answers on Saturday. I have plenty of questions but doubt they will phone me as I live abroad...hope some of you get on...I had the impression from the trailer they would prefer loads of questions about trans rights.

Mollyollydolly · 25/09/2020 13:00

Joanna and LIsa - I'll be giving that a listen.

Angryresister I am not sure if Any Answers phone callers outside the UK but they definitely do read out emails and tweets so it shouldn't matter if you are outside the UK and want to give your views.

Just noticed it's 3 women on the panel too.

WhereAreWeNow · 25/09/2020 13:10

Ooh, that should be interesting.

unwashedanddazed · 25/09/2020 13:13

Inviting questions on self id? My my how times have changed. Also three women being allowed to talk about womenny stuff. Am I dreaming?

BoreOfWhabylon · 25/09/2020 13:18

Times have changed all right! Grin

what to ask? THERE'S SO MANY QUESTIONS!

This is quite a sea change from the BBC. Curiouser and curiouser.

LizzieSiddal · 25/09/2020 14:33

Joanna Cherry and Lisa Nandy. Well well.

Cannot wait!

WIll be listening

BoreOfWhabylon · 25/09/2020 18:35

Oh, I do hope someone has sent in questions. I won’t be able to as won’t be available when it’s broadcast.

I’d have asked if the panel thought the GRA should now be repealed completely.

Will be listening as well.

JellyFishSquish · 25/09/2020 20:34

Women's sex based rights, yes

Self id abused by men, not trans

JellyFishSquish · 25/09/2020 20:38

"Get the balance right" says a man

"trans people let down badly this week" says a woman (Nandy)

"supporting a young person through this process" says Nandy, who knew?? Really what a surprise

RuffleCrow · 25/09/2020 20:42

Nandy is willfully ignorant
