Thanking Liz Truss

I wrote to her twice after her statement on the GRA in May explaining my thoughts on the GRA and my hopes that single sex spaces will continue to be protected

I used the Government Equalities geo.correspondence address to write to her then.

I want to follow up with a thank you email now and wondered if I should use this address or does anyone else have another address for her?

I was very impressed with her at The Questioning.

I've just written to my MP (who has received a number of missives from me about all this) and asked him to thank her and Jackie Doyle-Price for all their efforts. I have also suggested he might like to speak up in support in the future.....

Hey I've not written to my MP directly but have copied him in on emails to Liz. He never acknowledges them. Do you get replies? I like the idea of asking him to thank the ministers on my behalf. That's a good tactic. See if he bothers his arse getting back to me. 🤷‍♀️

@Allourboys that email you have is the correct one.
I emailed her yday at her parliament email and got an auto response saying that was for constituency matters only (she isn’t my MP) and anything to do with the equalities job should go to exactly the email you have

I think I will email Liz Truss to thank her and cc in my Labour MP too.
My MP is Jess Phillips who I haven't written to yet. I think I know what her stance would be though.

Thanks! Was just going to send an email - glad to know the GEO one is correct. But as I have the postal address now I might just send a card. Going to thank her and ask her to hold firm on the 2010 EA and sex protected spaces - this is just the beginning but that container ship is definitely turning... slowly. Am hoping Scotland does similar but things are slightly concerning up here and it will be interesting to see what happens.
