Youtube is doing the ad thing with most videos - they’re trying to annoy people into paying for the premium YouTube subscription is my take.

And also Datun and SwearyGodmother great to hear you get a well- deserved shout out. Another one here reading your posts/about your actions and cheering you on

I can confirm Datun and Posie are not the same person 😂 I owe a lot to Dittany, she's one of the posters I remember best when I first joined Mumsnet. I was still in school then, but I LOVED the articulate, fast moving debate. I often think about Dittany and wonder what happened to her, she was ruthless and I got my arse handed to me time and time again, but god did I learn.

Datun you should be in the same sentence as Dittany. You are always calm and explain things in a way that get to the heart of an issue. It makes it easy for people to understand things that can become very heated and complex.

I do too. I hope she is ok. That woman singlehandedly brought me to feminism.

Adding my hat-tip my hat of appreciation to everyone who has taken the time to write in. I have learned so much; even from first-time posters who asked a basic question.

It's been a bleak year, politically, so thank you for restoring my faith in reasoned debate. :-)
