She has just been banned from twitter

However, she has been quickly snapped up by Glinner and will be writing for his site (hoorah!).

That one is very funny. Scary though that someone so avoidant if questions is in the Lords.

She is brilliant, funny, oh so clever, and was really kind to me the other day. I think twitter is a pit. It's disgraceful she has been banned.

The power these people have to shutdown any sunlight gets more worrying by the day.

I actually had a ticket to this, but in the end I just couldn't face it.

Glad I'll still be able to read Sarah somewhere, love her style.

Brilliant, Sarah. Thank you for attending. I wish it had been different. I wish Ruth Hunt had been open and honest but either she just can't or she can't afford to. I wonder whether she sleeps at night. I wouldn't, in her position. I'd know the shit was advancing rapidly towards the fan.

The big question for me is how people like Ruth Hunt end up running things like Stonewall and being baronesses? She's clearly not the sharpest knife in the box and her account of Jesus appearing in a vision in a nightclub and encouraging her to support the T makes one wonder whether she should really be involved in any heavy duty decision making at all.

So those running Stonewall before her could obviously see where all this would lead. Wonder whether Ruth was put in place by someone who knew she could be manipulated.

I heard there was a twitter probl m. Loads of folk got banned or wrong buttons so maybe was a techi problem

I’d be very interested to see the evidence that they were being pressured to take on trans as an issue by such a huge range of ppl. She’s suggesting that there were just so many people/businesses/organisations that they had no choice but to now to the overwhelming cries

I’m far from convinced that was the case at all

Much more likely as many PP have said that having fulfilled much of their purpose they needed a new cause & a few key ppl saw that as an opportunity to get transgender issues more prominence

Kit19, I've only had a skim read of this:

but I see no mention at all of businesses pressuring Stonewall to adopt the T. And I've seen, but can't quickly track down, articles in which it's clear that Stonewall was approached by transpeople (I seem to remember Helen Belcher was one of them but I may be wrong) and asked to include them.

So we're seeing the story being rewritten by Ruth.

Ruth Hunt is Catholic? The Vatican produced an encyclical in 2019 called And Men And Women He Created Them, which firmly comes out against this ideology. The Vatican has even stated it is 'not from God' so if she has used Jesus or her faith to push this then that is heresy. I.am very surprised to see a Catholic take her stance.

Exactly Shed! It is a rewrite of history. The pressure came from a small number of very well connected trans ppl. It wasn’t some great popular uprising that they had to bow too
