I was trying to watch it as she was due to get her response from the EHRC and Gov Equalities Office yesterday and I desperately want to know what they said! We should hear any time I imagine

I think that's an earlier thread butterer

I'm getting the oops too. Best ask MNHQ cause there's not reason for it to be deleted, unless it had links to crowdfunding???

That would be a reason to delete or edit specific posts, not the thread
Norma27 · 23/09/2020 13:57

It did mention that she still had some way to go.
I'm sure there were no links though.

DialSquare · 23/09/2020 14:02

I didn't see anything worthy of deletion. But who knows what's worthy of deletion these days.

EdgeOfACoin · 23/09/2020 14:06

There weren't links but it was all about the crowd funder. Would that have been enough for a deletion?

I'm v interested in the response she was supposed to get yesterday.

yes @Butterer, it's the first thread on that google result. It was mentioning her crwd fndr but I didnt see any links to it.
I just want to keep track of the news. My understanding from her page is that she's not actually asking for any more funds right now til she's heard back from the 2 respondents.

I didnt start the thread so dont feel it's my place to ask (I'm not au fait with all the rules and systems here)

I've received the following email update. Going to dig again now.

Update on Official sources provide unlawful guidance on the 2010 Equality Act!*

Our requirements were not met and we are now moving to the second stage, which is to seek permission to proceed to Judicial Review.

We are now in process of drawing up documents to put before a judge. It’s impossible to say how long it will be before we receive that judicial decision.

It’s greatly heartening that so many see and understand the importance of this case.

Thank you so much for your comments. They are inspiring and sometimes heart-wrenching. Each and every one bolsters my spirit and strength.

Thank you for your generosity. An especial thanks to those who donated but could ill-afford to do so because of these straitened times – thank you for your sacrifice.

Your donations have covered legal costs up to this point and some proportion of second stage costs. Because of the complexity, including all the documents that have to be waded through, this case is necessarily time-consuming for our lawyers and that is costly. The second stage also generates court fees.

If it is possible for you to do so, please donate again. Also, again if it’s possible for you to do so, please draw this case to the attention of your friends, family and work associates, as well as any social media contacts.

We have already succeeded in getting EHRC to change its guidance.

With your help, we will fight to accomplish even more!
