Penguin Books is publicising a livestream event.
Join @guardian columnist and activist @OwenJones84 as he talks to comedian @frankieboyle about his new book, This Land. You will also get the chance to ask your questions at this livestreamed event, so make sure you're prepared. Incredibly, they're charging for entrance.
I don't think I've ever seen a tweet with 100% negative responses before. Plenty of them referencing Boyle's abhorrent so called jokes about women and people with disabilities. Here are just a few of the others.
Two men, who have blocked anyone who even mildly challenges their world view, are going to share their echo chamber with people who agree with them? Riveting stuff.
Will they be able to hear the questions if they're spoken by a female voice? (Given their combined distaste for members of the female sex?)
So sorry but it's my pet snail's birthday that day.
If you fill the audience with the women they've both blocked on Twitter, you'll need to hire Wembley stadium to accommodate them all.
I can just look down me top and see a pair of tits for free, thanks.
Sorry, I'm painting a millipede's toenails that day.
^I'm sorely tempted however I would much prefer to rub mustard in my eyes, it seems more worthwhile and ultimately less painful.
Best of luck with the event though.^
