Primary school RSE consultation

I am participating in the parent consultation for the RSE curriculum at school. They are going to use materials from 'Jigsaw'. Does anyone have any experience of this firm?

I have found this leaflet

www.thurnby-tmet.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Jigsaw-LGBT-Parent-Leaflet-A4.pdf

Which looks pretty sensible and says transgender is brought up in one lesson in a factual way in Yr 6. It says

' This lesson has a focus on prejudice and discrimination where a
transgender example is used. The Equality Act is also explained in an age-appropriate way.'

I think I will ask for more detail about this. But I don't want to go in all guns blazing if I don't have to, because it could be fine, and certainly doesn't seem overly problematic.

How can you feel female?

Jigsaw was on my list - one of the dodgy ones. Will check back as to what specifically bothered me and share.

Basically I'm placemarking.

This seems quite sensible, e.g. “Gay couples can’t make a baby themselves because a baby needs both a woman’s ovum and a man’s sperm to be made.”.
This is a private company Jigsaw PSHE Limited, owned by two people, whose business is “educational support services”.
There are lots of other organisations with Jigsaw in the name.
