This 10 week online course will be an introduction to the history of radical women in Britain. I usually teach this course at the Working Class Movement Library in Salford but until the public health situation improves it will be held online, using Zoom.

I will be teaching the course on Monday evenings from 5th October at a time to be agreed by course members. I will speak about the topic for about 50 minutes, followed by a discussion amongst course members on the issues. No previous knowledge is neccessary for this course.

It will include Mary Wollstonecraft, Female Reform Societies in 1819, Women Republicans, Women Owenite socialists and atheists, women and trade unions, and the story of Votes for Women , 1866 to 1928. You can find more information here
