I’m not certain it’s good practice for these newspapers to report cases like this where the accused is obviously needing mental health support. The accused is 24 and the ex-lover and dog owner 44, an age gap which also seems a red flag.
These two newspapers report this case, with a photo of Olivia (who looks very pretty), Olivia’s name and location, without mentioning the “impact of transition on mental health” claimed by Olivia’s defence. So “just” a pretty woman, not a transwoman in these two papers.

I don’t see how Olivia is helped by this redacted press coverage that keeps name and photo, and I don’t see how it helps the readers of these papers to understand the world.
