Someone sent me a very funny example of ideological capture at the BFI which is on the link below. I'd like to run a regular feature about this kind of workplace wokery. I want it to become a sort of whistleblowing service. A lot of peoplethe majority, I would say agree with gender critical feminists that gender ideology is bollocks, but they'd risk their careers and their social circles by saying as much.

So please, send them to me! Who else will publish them? The Guardian? The Guardian would TURN YOU IN.

Love the title Tales from the Wokeplace

During a diversity training seminar, a young male co-worker commented he watched a few episodes of "The Office" as he'd heard it was so good, but had to turn it off as he was appalled at how hateful it was.

He then said we need to call out older people (note, he was talking to mainly women 35-55 on this team) for their horrible transphobia, misogyny, racism, homophobia etc. they must have 'normalized' in the past. He said, "I can't believe Boomers made a TV show to make fun of people. To think the generations before us thought that was ok! Good thing we've had all these workplace trainings or things would be worse."

He thought the TV show glorified the characters' insane and ridiculous behavior. He couldn't see the humor in the irony. I believe he really thought the show represented societal ideals and that without "re-education," we older people would be just adrift in our ignorance.

Thank goodness there are young, woke men willing to straighten out us old ladies.
