Does anyone have a good recommendation for a fairly gentle and factual book about puberty for a nine-year-old girl? I have seen a fair bit on here recently about modern, woke books with questionable gender stereotypes in them. That would not be at all helpful to DD. She is a very scientifically minded child and has been brought up in a fairly unstereotyped environment.
She’s also like I was a child I would not be thrilled to be reading things which are trying to bang on about her femininity and refer to things like ‘blossoming’ or referring to insecurities she doesn’t posess.
Any recommendations gratefully received as I don’t want to waste loads of money buying, vetting and chucking out crap books.
