Is this job advert seeking non GC therapists to pursue an affirmation only approach in this new Gender Dysphoria service?

I'm just looking at the job spec: "To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options taking into account queer and trans affirmative models and considering the impact of wider systems on that persons experience of gender dysphoria"

The advert is for a newly qualified Psychologist to be supervised by a more senior Psychologist who promoted it on her twitter: "Are you a psychosexual therapist who is also a trans ally or a member of the trans community? If so come work with us" Alongside a beautiful picture.

Seems to be for men, says so several times. Isn't that a bit exclusionary? Should they not be saying 'prostate havers' or similar?

I think that this is for an adult service, not kids.

From what I've heard from friends of friends who work in it, the adult service is extremely affirmative and they refer people for physical treatment with very few questions asked. In the case of GIDS there is some controversy around it because they're kids, but in the case of adult services there isn't even that.

Queer affirmative?

Not the whole shebang of things that come under queer, surely?
