I really really want femininity and how to be a woman mansplained to me by dudes. I can't think of anyone with more experience of what it's like to be a woman ....

I am simultaneously caught between hilarious laughter and jaw dropping shock. I genuinely thought this was a spoof! On a serious note I do worry about the mental state/self worth of any woman who would go to an event like that. Her self esteem must be through the floor.

I'm going to say they are either the religeous ones who want to have all women be surrendered wives, or Trans men who wnat us to know that they know how to be women better than we do so they'll show us and charge for the priviledge.

Incels and/or Bible belters, is my guess.

Just look at that screenshot above: resembles that skit on a 1950s magazine article about wifedom. We've all seen it: 'put a ribbon in your hair and be pretty when he returns from work'; 'never greet him with complaints'; 'listen to him first and don't speak because his day's more important than yours' kind of stuff. The scary thing is that this was supposed to be a joke.

What a novelty should these males host a conference about something within the remit of their experience. Such as, ya'knaw, men. They just might, just might, then have an opportunity to learn something. But that would require a level of self-insight that men like this could never possess.

There is a huge movement for stuff like this. Check out Girl Defined, Now That I’m a Mother (beautiful, fun, smart girl posting on how to be strong enough to submit to your husband when she seems like the type who could run a major corporation in her sleep) 19kids and counting and the fundie snark subreddits. It just shows how polarised many sections of usa society have become. The fundamental Christian sections are passionately regressive on women’s roles.
