So I have received my final letter from the DWP, apparently if you feel you are being discriminated (by 'sex' being removed from their equality statement) against they have to close your case.

Next stop (you will need a friendly MP but I don’t think it has to be yours): www.ombudsman.org.uk/

My new MP is crap, I tried to contact her about something and didn't get a reply, the previous one was good.

Thanks for the link - can you suggest a friendly MP?

Baroness Nicholson might be worth trying, she is collating examples of businesses and organisations not adhering to the Equality Act.

I hadn't seen this before. In you previous thread they said "Gender means either of the two sexes (male and female), especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones."

I would complain on the basis that gender and sex are different, and to conflate the two is offensive to transgender individuals.
