Jane Clare Jones appears to have had the energy to pick apart some of this for which I applaud her. It's a malevolent little piece, the positioning of gender criticism as white feminism and the grouping of women of colour with trans women is something they're careful to build up. All the spiteful little games are clearly on show.

This tweet appears to indicate this is the author. To quote the author, “Maybe you should look at who you’re talking about”. Couldn’t agree more as it’s often informative about reasons for bias.

Most good sociology research would conduct interviews and studies with both sides of the debate. They would also try to dissect why both sides feel the way they do. I presume that that is the case here?

I wonder if they will publish a response to the assertion that GC feminists are white, racist, colonialist, right-wing oppressors of trans women?

And justifying the use of the word TERF because people are ‘angry and frustrated’?

It’s so transparent in its bias I am really shocked the SR has published it as it stands.
