Gormless sophistry is my phrase of the week now, thanks Vermeil Grin

It really is silly. No one want to think about their parents shagging, but if you have a “traditional” (for want of a better word) set up of two parents who conceived you together in the absence of any outside help, then it is 100% sure that you had one parent with the means to make large immobile gametes, and one that makes small motile ones, so one of each sex. It’s idiotic to pretend that you couldn’t possibly comment, as if how babies are made is some esoteric, unfathomable mystic process.

My parents are gender critical and know exactly how they made me. I was, in fact, brought by storks of course (because eeeeuuuuuuuwwwwww otherwise)

I'm sure it sounded much cleverer in her head that it looks in black and white.

Even if you don't come from a 'traditional set up of two parents who conceived you together in the absence of any outside help', you still know for sure that your bio parents were one male who provided the sperm and a female who provided the egg. You might additionally have had input from a mitochondria donor(always female) and/or a surrogate (again always female).

There is absolutely no wiggle room - if you're a living human being you know exactly and unambiguously the sex of your parents.

@SapphosRock

For all I know my DC's biological 'parent' (ie the sperm donor) May identify as a woman. I'm pretty sure he doesn't but who knows anymore in the current climate 🤷🏼‍♀️
He may identify as a woman yes. But he's still a man Hmm The whataboutery to justify this gender woo bollocks must be migraine inducing.

Very true, Errol
