Here is the letter that was signed by 300 plus women who are standing up for equality in sports. Leaked, of course:

This is not the first time something like this has happened. I have the strong impression that ends justify the means very much for at least the most ardent of trans activists.

I recall an earlier case where Jezebel (a pseudo-feminist site) published posts which someone had leaked from a private listserve to attack Jesse Singal.

The posts by other people who had participated in whatever the specific discussion was about were also published though the names of the posters were deleted. Still, I thought the move was a nasty one.

If I had been the editor I would not have accepted material acquired in that particular way. Besides, what Jezebel published was quite tame and didn't support the arguments the author tried to make about Singal. So another own goal, based on what I remember about the comments on Jezebel.

In brief the sequence has been masculine, then feminine, then a declaration that it was Mrs Ennis's fault and so back to masculine, and of recent times back to feminine. I think the name Dawn Ennis has been used for the past several years. Pronouns: She/Her.
