I suspect they need a mental health referral. Such a level of delusion, combined with the other wild stuff they’ve posted, suggests a serious psychiatric problem.

WinnieLowCo · 30/07/2020 08:30

Madness.

It is a psychiatric issue to convince yourself that blood coming out of your male anus is a period. Confused

MedusasButterDish · 30/07/2020 09:13

Yet again women have to come to the rescue with facts, after some absolute dick has tried to spread dangerous disinformation through th'internet. 🙄

BaronessWrongCrowd · 30/07/2020 09:21

If a person with a penis suddenly started bleeding from an orifice that won't have blood coming out of it each month because of this old fashioned concept called biology, then I would be point said person towards seeing a Doctor pretty sharpish.

GilderoyLockdown · 30/07/2020 14:39

Not sure if this particular individual is real or not, but it's certainly been said in seriousness before. I don't understand how allowing biologically male transwomen to think they're menstruating is being spun as some kind of supportive gesture. If that's your friend or loved one and they're having monthly bleeds from their anus, you should be encouraging and supporting them to get medical attention!

Given the merry abandon with which randomers piss disinformation everywhere, it's hard not to suspect some bastards are telling these lies on purpose, in order to tie up us Support Humans in pointing people to the correct information, urging them to seek medical help, blah, blah, blah.

If that's your friend or loved one and they're having monthly bleeds from their anus, you should be encouraging and supporting them to get medical attention! (This, definitely. Apart from knowing and caring for these people, we will be sure they're telling the truth, compared to the abovementioned lying randomers!)

Totickleamockingbird · 30/07/2020 19:40

Bleeding from your anus or penis is a serious heath problem actually. One that a GP should look at. Immediately.
But that is biology 101 and this lot does not understand anything that remotely resembles a sound argument. Hmm

[quote lionheart]CNN: 'Individuals with a cervix.'

They can be reached at www.cnn.com/feedback

I am sure they would love to hear from all cervix havers. One British survey found that almost one half of the women they interviewed did not know that they had a cervix. This is such a prime case of inane wokeness taking precedence over actually providing information

Sorry... what now?

CNN is getting absolutely hammered on Twitter for saying 'Individuals with a cervix '. As far as I can see it's mostly Americans objecting, which is heartening. Sometimes I feel the UK is the only place with substantial kickback to this erasure of women.

You are the awe-inspiring foremothers of the new women's liberation movement. There will be books written about the Wise Women of Mumsnet and children will learn about you at school!

Or it could well be the case that the future is something much more dystopian but at least you gave it a good go.

Deathraystare · 31/07/2020 07:32

Someone needs a biology lesson

But he is a man so he must know, right?!

When my mum bled out her anus it definitely was not a period. It was bowel cancer but I am sure as he is a man he knows best right?

I can't find the original link, can anyone?
