On her blog "Lipstick Socailist" Bernadette Hyland has posted an account by Pat Reynolds of IBRG's activities in 1986. I remember that time well. You will wait a long time before the Irish government supports its diaspora population. Mary Robinson was the first to really acknowledge its existence.
