I don't have social media. Never have. I do read twitter though. Particularly GC women. Has anyone be reading @feminist_rachel the last couple of days? She's pretty much summed up my feelings in a much better way than I ever could! It's brilliant!

The sick to fucking death thread seemed to me to echo what the general public is starting to think, not just gender critical feminists.

There was an element of 'oh for fuck's sake just shut up about it, we know the agenda' contempt.

It's certainly resonating with numerous people.

I agree with this. I'm slightly ashamed to say that I don't have any feminist credentials. I come from a working class background in the East End of a London. I left school at 16 and didn't stay on for A levels let alone go to University. Feminism just wasn't on my radar. I haven't heard of most of the feminist icons that you ladies sometimes mention in these threads. But I started reading this board a few years ago as gender ideology just didn't sit right with me. I've learnt so much and agreed with so much that the amazing women on here have said. I think I may be a little bit of a feminist now! So much so that I feel confident enough to post now too!

All of that. And it's all in plain sight, fully evidenced.

Yes, I too am fucking sick to death of it.

I made a decision around the time of JKR's essay to sign out of twitter for the good of my sanity, but the sheer weight of the responses to this are so heartening.
Can it be true? Is the tide starting to change?
