The trending hashtag #onlyfemalesgetcervicalcancer has just made me realise that as it's become more acceptable to talk about period and targeted ads for them in a more honest way. As knowledge of endemitriosis grows etc.
It strikes me as another way to silence women. Shut up about your female bodies and complaints, we're all women and men with different bodies. You're hurting trans women who cant get to experience the joy of a miscarriage or the pain of hemorrhaging.
You're nothing special and you dont have to worry that your female complaints wont be heard any more. As women and men now experience the same problems we can stop talking about bleeding and vaginas and periods and wombs.
We can still talk about dicks though.
