Brilliant idea! I'll do this but via email, maybe print and send but probably not to NYT's offices.

Stealhsquirrelnutkin · 08/07/2020 15:38

What a good idea. I downloaded it, refreshed the page and saw 3 other people had downloaded it in the same few seconds.

Does anyone know how much it costs to send a letter to New York, I have a stash of first and second class stamps, but don't remember how much they are worth today, or know the rate to the US, so I am having trouble working out how many I need to stick on that envelope.

I suppose it is still quite early, but my memory is a bit leaky so I want to get them sent before I forget.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 08/07/2020 15:40

I’ve just printed them off to send and have cards to send to her publishing house. I’m going to finish it off with a contribution in JK’s and Nicholson’s name to their charity.
I hope she receives the support she deserves. Star

Onthebrink87 · 08/07/2020 16:26

Does anyone have a clicky link? Op's isn't working for me!

I have seen some of the ladies on Twitter talking about mass retweeting her terf wars thread on her birthday too

Thingybob · 08/07/2020 16:29

Very clever idea, thank you Transgender Trend

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 08/07/2020 16:31

What a great idea!

I sort of feel that the tide is starting to turn, but then I read some of the utter tripe that's still being peddled about and I wonder. And get sad, especially when someone like Mgt At-wood appears to have drunk the kool-aid as well. Of all people!!

MiraWard77 · 08/07/2020 16:35

I came across this on Spinster, but popped back here to make sure you'd all seen it too. I've printed my 3, just about to see if I can use the post office app to print postage anonymously.

(Yes, I'm overly-concerned that my job is vulnerable to being accused of hate speech!)

Oh no, she hasn't

A creative and respectful idea - well done Transgender Trend.

Will be printing these off and sending them snail mail. Smile

highame · 08/07/2020 17:32

I've just printed mine off but noticed that BBC's person of interest is Megha Mohan whose title is Gender & Identity Correspondent. What does this mean? is there a Women's Correspondent a well? If not is the BBC taking licence payers money and using it in a biased way. Someone help me out please. Shouldn't the title be Sex, Gender and Identity Correspondent?

Dances · 08/07/2020 17:46

Touchnote.com

Just saying....

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 08/07/2020 17:48

@MiraWard77 - how do you mean? She appears to be in favour of TWAW

CaveMum · 08/07/2020 18:08

highame I doubt it, however I have more respect for the Gender correspondent than the LGBT correspondent Ben Hunte (I think) who pushed the trans agenda at every opportunity.

Great idea! Good message too.

HandsOffMyRights · 08/07/2020 18:11

A novel idea!

Happy birthday to JKR snd a special thank you to the woman who gave birth to this legend.

WisestIsShe · 08/07/2020 18:12

Yes. I asked him once on Twitter if he would be reporting/condemning the attack on Julie Bindel, but he remained silent funnily enough.
MotherForkinShirtBalls · 08/07/2020 18:15

Fab-u-liss.

contactusdeletus · 08/07/2020 18:36

I absolutely love this. The "letters from no-one" idea is so appropriate.

PaleBlueMoonlight · 08/07/2020 19:50

This is great. Inspired.

CaveMum · 08/07/2020 22:00

Giving this a bump.
