Looking at the twitter feed, I don't think she is an employee, I think she is a volunteer.

Honestly, she sounds like a young person who is suffering from depression and struggling with gender.

One of her tweets says:

"I've never had so much time just to contemplate (ruminate on?) my gender, and being GQ means that I'm careening wildly between a desire to appear like a cis male but then a fear of leaving behind a cis female appearance. I don't know if identity consolidation is even possible."

I think the tweet is evidence of immaturity, although plenty of older people tweet rubbish.

I understand why it is irritating, but she doesn't have a big following.

Anyone can post any pictures on the internet, but given that she dresses up in drag as a man, I think she might be the kind of 'lowly woman' who just needs a few more years to understand that you can't escape the consequences of sex (even if for you the consequences of sex are gender dysphoria, hysterectomy, mastectomy and a life of taking medication)

It never ceases to amaze me how many white, middle class PhD students there are these days who claim they are oppressed.

I don't know how oppressed she is, but taking her twitter feed at face value, she is struggling with mental health.

Just seen this and puzzled a lot.

She is a trans nb? Who is exploring her femme side. (So, a gender conforming woman?)

Threatening violence to those who question the ideology.

Says this "cistopia is a dystopia..." (and is whole heartedly channeling gender conformity.)

"Trans rights or fist fights"? How does she think any marginalised group suffering systemic oppression have managed to gain any rights? Does she think the Stonewall uprising and mythical bricks legalised homesexuality? Does she think women just btf out of bank managers to be allowed mortgages and other credit in our own names?

Boring as it is, rights are achieved by introducing laws or amending existing law. But hey, if that's how she rolls, she's welcome to try fist fighting all the sitting MPs in the House of Reps, then trotting over to 'the other place' to play performative fisticuffs with elected Senators.

Merry, I noticed that. I can't help thinking she may be very angry about the patriarchy and sexism etc but is venting through the whole trans stuff, and hasn't quite understood the links.

I have had a look through her social media and website - it's very.... Odd! It seems that she is female though, so why she is advocating violence against women I don't know 🤷‍♀️

Women are shamed when they wear the clothes and makeup they've been told they should wear as then they're victim blamed for receiving male attention that can be abusive.

So they're hiding behind a facade of, I'm only dressing like this as part of my queer trans persona as that's "acceptable."

The ironic thing is it's her oppression as a female that is blinding her to the source of her identity issues.

Looking through the twitter responses, yet again I see lots of replies which are about how Georgie Williams has to be a man. I despair at how often people get sidetracked into arguments about appearance rather than arguing about rights. It really doesn't matter what sex Georgie Williams is, the point is they're advocating violence for a political cause.

I know that's really why I preferred big baggy jumpers and men's Levi jeans as a 17 year old. I was supposed to be a female but not too female.

Then we were allowed to go all out over the top at art college for final show fundraisers because it was dressing up as an artist. That was acceptable.
