Just that really. Sorry if there's already a thread.

It's brilliant. Absolutely spot on.

@Mycatismadeofstringcheese

Also I need to add, I love the woman with the long boobs dancing at the end. She reminds me of this:

Love it 🤣

Bodyform is known as Libresse in Sweden, and back in 2017 they came out with this gem.

Bodyform had a UK version of the advert too, although I think it was a shorter/amended version.
It was apparently the first time a Sanpro company had shown actual menstrual blood in an advert for menstrual products

I bet the TRA's lurking on here are not happy that we are so welcoming to Transmen.

If they are, it’s because they have absolutely no understanding of feminism.

True, its a known problem for mysogynists.

Hello mad Dr! Looking at you.

Well they are told that radical feminists are terfs - trans exclusionary, they have a problem with trans people.

Not that radical feminists centre women and girls and don’t include trans women in this category.

As a mum to two girls who will likely be starting their periods soon, I salute you, Bodyform! We'll be buying you in future....

It's not just about feminism though. As this thread shows, the whole "TERF" derogatory phrase that is constantly used to silence women has withered away with an accompanying queeky fart noise, like a deflated balloon because women aren't trans-exclusionary, they are just penis exclusionary from women's safe spaces.

I've created a new acronym.

Love this ad, and not ashamed to say made me teary. Very relatable and honest. Let's face it I don't want to get out of bed some days, never mind go riding a bike. Some people will find it yucky and inappropriate, but I applaud this new ad.

It's a lovely ad. Plus, that ad might (indeed probably will) persuade me to buy their products. The blue liquid, white trouser ads make me determined NOT to buy that brand, whatever it may be.

Plus any sanpro that smells like a car air freshener is also out.

Okay, so it's only a marketing ploy and designed very cleverly to persuade its core market to part with its cash.

But I still think it's a worthy effort. As someone who has suffered repeated miscarriages and endometriosis (possibly interrelated) I'm aware these experiences can be very isolating, and it's good to see them destigmatised (in a way that, arguably, only baby loss awareness week has achieved).

#Wombstories was trending on Twitter earlier today, BTW. Very interestingly, at the same time, #TransPeopleAreReal made it into the list of trending hashtags. Coincidence, given that for once women's experiences had been centred? This stuff should really not be controversial in 2020.

I think it's just a variation on the 'You're denying my existence' which was all the rage last year.

Love it!
Feels such a small victory (even though it’s just a marketing campaign!) to have something so women-centric.
