Just saw this campaign by the Southall Black Sisters being promoted by WPUK. It sounds extremely important and time critical and it's something everyone can get involved with, they've even provided an email template to help to contact your MP. In a nutshell it's about making sure migrant women are covered in the new DV bill. If everyone could take 5 mins to fire off an email to their MP about it that'd be ace.

Thanks for highlighting this campaign from SBS. It's easy to forget that migrant women don't necessarily have access to the same support structures and resources when they find themselves in difficult or abusive circumstances.

Thank you OP, will email my MP, as a descendant of immigrants on both sides of my family I'm all for helping where I can. I will also have a read up. I want to do some research as to which external agencies are/aren't doing anything to advocate this.

If you find anything, feel free to share it here thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter. Clearly this is an area that needs more recognition / attention.

Excellent and very necessary campaign consisting of the support of 50 organisations, many of which I was sadly unaware of but will be taking the time to read up on each and see how I can support them.
