Just found this fascinating BBC documentary called Man Alive: Consenting adults 2 - the lesbians on iPlayer.

Interviewing lesbians about their lives in 1967. The first interview with Steve is particularly interesting.

I’m going to bump this because I thought it was fascinating! I would love to discuss it with someone!

I've just watched this OP. It struck me how little has changed. I suppose I'm slightly surprised at how out these women were. My smallish town in the late eighties amd early nineties I don't think was as accepting as this!
