Body Shop and JK Rowling Stickers

Someone just posted a picture on Twitter of "I [heart] JK Rowling" Stickers suddenly appearing in the Body Shop. Shame people can't tell who is doing it because they have masks on.
They must have bought the stickers online. I've noticed a lot of places selling them.... I feel like these stickers are very very sticky...

Goodness. I wonder if they got them from the usual sticker sellers who stand up for women?

BewaretheIckabog · 30/06/2020 22:37

I do like a sticky sticker.

TheChampagneGalop · 30/06/2020 22:47

This cheered me up today.Smile

Love this! I’m going to have to get me some of those.

MrsFogi · 30/06/2020 22:52

I am shocked that it is possible to purchase such items here - it should not be allowed!!

Langbannedforsafeguardingkids · 30/06/2020 22:56

Why did you tell me about this? I am going to outdo my 3 year old's sticker habit now...... but I do so love JKR so it has to be done.

Igmum · 30/06/2020 22:57

❤️ JK stickers Grin

Seriously shocking - and how fast one's basket fills up, almost by magic ... lots of GORGEOUS stickers and postcards, which can all be popped into a beautiful tote bag to take and distribute round town...I'm going to be a busy and happy bunny longing for people to know how much I LOVE J K Rowling

MushyPeasAreTheDevilsFood · 30/06/2020 23:14

Omg love the sorting hat one.

I mean, how disgraceful.

www.redbubble.com/i/sticker/I-Stand-With-J-K-Rowling-Starry-Purple-Geometry-by-XXRebellion/50450584.EJUG5 It's absolutely digusting that you can buy these starry purple ones with brooms and bats on.

Someone should buy them all and put them out of business.

This has made me happy!
How shocking and awful that pp have posted links do people know where to instantly order these very sticky stickers. Some of them stuck to my PayPal! The outrage!!

BewaretheIckabog · 01/07/2020 00:10

Would it be very irresponsible to give a 3 year old several packets before going in to the body shop?

JemimaShore · 01/07/2020 00:13

Ha ha! Grin

I heart JK Rowling so much.

Fantastic.

SerenityNowwwww · 01/07/2020 00:17

The Starbucks near needs has the anti-mermaids sticker on the wall. I used to walk last it on my way home from work and I would point it out to people passing. It cheered me right up.

ToesAndFingersCrossed · 01/07/2020 00:22

Oops, I think some accidentally fell in to my basket. I guess I’ll need to make sure to get rid of them as quickly as possible once they arrive.

stella47 · 01/07/2020 00:25

It would be awful to be able to get 100 for £10. And just where are all these women getting their money from anyway? Why are are the far right funding glittery stickers?

Gingerkittykat · 01/07/2020 00:58

Damn, only shops with outdoor entrances are open in Scotland so far so no access to the Body Shop for a while.

I've no idea how you could sticker that shop anyway since it is always empty and the assistants pounce on you as soon as you walk through the door.

EmpressLangClegSpartacus · 01/07/2020 06:15

You know, one of the benefits of being an invisible woman is that nobody actually notices you stickering.

EmpressLangClegSpartacus · 01/07/2020 06:17

Oh, I wonder if that came from www.standingforwomen.com/stickers?

This did make me smile, but just remember than the Body Shop as a business is entitled to do what they like with their brand and their brand direction and statements. That includes doing things you don't agree with. However, that also means they have to take responsibility for their actions which means that one day, if things start turning around in a big way regarding this issue, they will have to live with the action they decided to take.

They don't care about stickers (no matter how annoying they are to get off). They care about money. If they see enough of a financial hit after what they did and they can see that a lot of women (outside of Mumsnet) are talking about it, only then will it make an impact.
