Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Any Labour CLP members?

I cautiously dipped my toe in the water and enquired about joining our local Labour Women's Forum. I've been a Labour member for a little while now and thought I ought to get more involved.

I had the following contradictory response back.

Now wondering if I should bother. How are we supposed to freely discuss matters relating to women's biology and lived experience with a male bodied person present? What if I slip up and correctly sex (sorry, 'misgender') this person by mistake?

Why the hell can't women of the adult human female variety actually have anything of our own?

Would you go along, or not bother?

Any Labour CLP members?

I would. And I would do all I could to keep the topics relevant to female people.

See if anyone objects...

I'll go along wearing my 'I ❤ JK Rowling' T-Shirt then and work my way up to the 'Adult Human Female' one. I've just looked up the transwoman in question. Full on AGP, with that particularly disturbing fetish that involves dressing up in a kind of little girl Alice in Wonderland style.
How the fuck has the Labour Party come to this?
Will see how long I last.

Please report back?

The way I see it is we may as well make them actually expel us boring old vagina-women feminist types!
