Harrop is being ironic, and is in no way supportive of a sensible solution to the issue. Colonisation of women's spaces is the only game in town.

I think we all got that! It's just that his idea of separate spaces - which he thinks is ironic - is actually a great solution we can all agree on apart from him because he only said it to have a weird go at women (God help his female patients)

Well, in a certain doctor's practice, it's easy. If a service user shows up for a prostate exam wearing a fetching summer frock and needs to give a urine sample, they can safely be directed to the women's toilet. If they show up for a cervical smear and need to go to the toilet, they should be sent to the ghetto loo (possibly an outdoor privy).

If they are a chap in a dapper suit presenting for a prostate exam, they need the chap's loos, because chaps are the most important people in the universe.

I've noticed this more and more on twitter. They forced the 'cis' then dropped the 'trans'. So they can spit the 'cis' with venom and disgust. Vile 'cis' women who are the evil oppressors of the poor, dainty, delicate (trans) women

Does this person actually practice medicine? I cannot imagine being a woman in distress needing medical help, and having to see him. His misogyny would never allow him to treat a female patient fairly or professionally. What woman, knowing what he espouses, would have confidence in him? Surely all his women hating tweets violate professional codes of conduct.

I'm loving the responses on that twitter thread. I think we should all get behind Harrop's campaign for separate spaces for women, transwomen and men.

His next suggestion will be that, as c**women are undeserving, they should have inferior facilities.

I was told the other day on Twitter that white people would never have demanded access to black people’s facilities during racial segregation as the facilities for black people were far worse.

But how long would it take do you think, before men started demanding access to the c**women’s toilet?

Frankly I don't care if the loos for my Betters are gold plated with waiter service, and the female only loo is in a cupboard with the spiders. If it's a male-free zone I'm happy.

Because for females, it's about need . That's it. Begging to be allowed to keep some crumbs to meet real and actual needs , as opposed to desires and politics and choice and validation and living best lives and a whole lot of other luxuries.
